Tewksbury

Living in Tewksbury

Tewksbury is one of the last communities north of Boston where a lot of house can be purchased in comparison to the surrounding towns. Quiet, tree lined neighborhoods are abundant in Tewksbury’s tight nit community.

As in Lawrence, Andover, and Wilmington, the Shawsheen River flows through Tewksbury. The Public Health Museum is housed in the old mental asylum with 900 acres of trails and open spaces and is now owned by the Commonwealth. A family friendly night out can be enjoyed at one of the two entertainment complexes: Wamesit Lanes and The Merrimack Valley Pavillion (MVP). Wamesit contains a bowling alley, restaurants, and other indoor games. MVP offers mini golf, food and drink options, and a 6,000 square foot multi-level laser tag arena.
